Individual training

Photorealism airbrush course

I teach what took me years to work out for myself. The course is individual because photorealism cannot be taught over someone else's shoulder — I need to stand beside you and correct your hand.

How the course works

One to one

All the attention is on one person. No group, no shared workstation and no divided time.

Two days

You decide how many hours per day. I tailor the programme to your level.

Kudowa-Zdrój or your city

Courses take place in my workshop. If travel is a problem, I can come to you.

What we practise

  • Airbrush setup, pressure and paint thinning
  • Building tones from the lightest point
  • Skin, hair and the eye — the three hardest parts of a portrait
  • Masking, stencils and edge control
  • How to rescue a piece when something goes wrong
Airbrushed portrait — work in progress

The result we work towards on the course: a portrait built in layers, without a brush or digital retouching.

Who it is for

We agree your level before the course

You are starting out

You have an airbrush but do not know where to begin. We start with the equipment settings.

You have been painting for a while

Your work looks flat or muddy. We correct your hand control and layer order.

You are a tattoo artist

You want to transfer soft shading from paper to skin. The same principles of light apply.

Dates and prices are agreed individually — they depend on how many days you need and whether the course takes place at my workshop or yours. Tell me about your current level and I will send a specific proposal.

Ask about available dates

Tell me about your experience and the equipment you use. I will send an available date, the price and what to bring.
